[Event] Moris Festa Mini

Starting in October 2025, we will be holding a mini event called "Morris Festa Mini" twice a month where you can meet Moris!!

Mt. Moiwa's mascot character, "Morisu," will appear at the mid-mountain station and hold a mini-game and photo session that anyone can participate in.
The winner of the mini-game will receive an original novelty item exclusive to participants of "Morris Festa Mini."
Even if you don't win the mini-game, those who participate in the photo session will receive a photo taken with an Instax camera and an original photo frame exclusive to visitors!
*One Instax photo and photo frame will be given per group.

A special time to experience in the mountains.
Why not make lots of fun memories at "Morris Festa Mini"?

[Ended] Announcement of "Moiwa Mountain Day 2025" event

At the Sapporo Mt. Moiwa Ropeway, May 31st is designated as "Mt. Moiwa Day" every year in commemoration of the 531m elevation, and it has been decided that "Mt. Moiwa Day 2025" will be held again this year, following on from last year!!!
This year's event will be held for two days, Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, from 10:30 to 17:00 on both days.

There will be a lot of fun activities for children to learn about the natural environment, such as the insect exhibition that was very popular last year and ski resort clean-up activities. In addition, there will be a lot of exciting stage events such as magic shows, balloon shows, and idol performances, making it a two-day event full of attractions.
We are currently making preparations to ensure that everyone, both regular visitors to the Iwa Mountain Ropeway and those visiting for the first time, can enjoy Mt. Iwa to the fullest!

*Please note that this year, JR Hokkaido Bus will be operating a special "limited timetable" from Maruyama Bus Terminal. This bus will run non-stop to the Moiwa Mountain Ropeway, so please use it when you come to the festival! About the 4th Mt. Moiwa Photo Contest

The photo contest, which was held for the first time last year and was well received, will be held again this year!

On Sunday, September 22nd, we will be holding the first ever "Dance high in the sky! Mt. Moiwa Bon Odori" with the concept of "a fun festival that will make people of all ages and genders smile."

In Hokkaido, we will dance to the classic "Hokkai Bon Uta" and "Kodomo Bon Odori" songs, as well as "that song" that everyone knows, with simple Bon Odori-style choreography. Since it is in the mountains, there is no need to worry about your surroundings! Why not sing and dance to your heart's content?

There will also be a nostalgic festival day, a corner where you can experience old-fashioned games, and food trucks to brighten up your autumn appetite. Follow us on Instagram and get a free festival day!

A cute flower water fountain will be set up next to Moiwayama Shrine at Chufuku Station, where the event will be held. It's sure to look great on Instagram...

In addition, the photo contest, which was held for the first time on "Mountain Moiwa Day" on May 31st this year and was a big hit, is making a comeback already. In commemoration of the 531m elevation, the Sapporo Mount Moiwa Ropeway will be holding a four-day event from May 30th (Thursday) to June 2nd, declaring May 31st "Mount Moiwa Day"!

This year, there will be a lot of fun content, such as the North Safari Sapporo Zoo, a large insect exhibition, and a magic show! There will also be a large gathering of popular food trucks, so you are sure to be satisfied both in your stomach and your heart. We also have gifts available on a first-come, first-served basis.

*The mobile zoo will close at 4:00 p.m. depending on the health of the animals.
