What time is the last ropeway departure?

If you would like to go to the summit observation deck, please take the 21:30 up ropeway. For details, please check here .

How much does it cost?

A round trip ticket from the base to the summit costs 2,100 yen per adult and 1,050 yen per child. There are also discounts for Sapporo residents and seniors.

How can I get to the ropeway base station?

Please board the Sapporo City Tram at Nishi 4-chome and get off at the Ropeway Entrance, where you will see the free shuttle bus stop. Please board the shuttle bus from there (about 2 minutes ride). Alternatively, you can walk to the hotel after getting off the tram (about 8 minutes).

Is there parking available?

There is free parking for 120 cars at the ropeway station (base station).

How do I get to the summit observation deck?

Take the ropeway from the base station to the mid-mountain station, then transfer to a mini cable car to go up to the observation deck at the summit.

Can I go to the summit observation deck in a wheelchair?

The entire facility is barrier-free, so you can go up to the mountaintop observation deck in your wheelchair.

Are there any souvenir shops or restaurants?

At the summit station there is a souvenir shop, a restaurant and a takeaway corner.

Can I bring pets?

You may bring pets to the facility, but please keep them in a cage that covers their head while on the facility grounds (including the mountaintop observation deck), in the carrier, and on the shuttle bus. You may take your pet out of the cage outside, but please make sure to keep it on a leash.
Please note that we do not allow pets in the restaurant.

Can I use a credit card?

You can use the vending machine at the ropeway base station and mid-station ticket window, the summit station shop "Mt. MOIWA SOUVENIR SHOP", the summit restaurant "THE JEWELS", and the take-out corner, but you can only make one payment. Please note that the automatic ticket vending machines at the mid-station and summit stations only accept cash.
