Mount Moiwa Sightseeing Road
A limited-time driving course that takes you up the middle of Mt. Moiwa!
On the south side of Mt. Moiwa, there is a driving course about 3.5 kilometers long that is open only in the summer.
While enjoying the various expressions of nature from spring to autumn, you can see the gradually expanding Sapporo cityscape. If you're lucky, you may even encounter animals such as Hokkaido squirrels and Hokkaido deer.
Why not consider the Mt. Moiwa Sightseeing Expressway, where you can enjoy the typical Hokkaido scenery and the smells and sounds of nature when you open the car windows?
Approximately 80 parking spaces available at Chufuku Station
A mini cable car takes you from the parking lot at Chufuku Station to the summit observation deck.
From Moiwasanchufu Station, enjoy a ride on the mini cable car.
During the summer, you can also enjoy a 600m nature trail.
*Due to lack of lighting, the lights will be on until around 6pm.

- Road closures may occur depending on road conditions.
- When the mid-mountain parking lot (approximately 80 cars) is full, entry will be restricted at the entrance to the tourist highway.
- In order to reduce the number of cars approaching the summit, the tourist road will only go as far as the mid-mountain parking lot.
